Dark Water has an Interesting story that is weighed down because it just gets weirder and weirder as it goes along. It is not scary, just creepy. and suffers from a huge let down of an ending. Jennifer Connelly is very good in her performance, yet, she is out-done by little Ariel Gade, giving a really good performance as her daughter and a fun John C. Reilly as a maintenance man. The film is never boring, just unsatisfying. |

I love Jennifer Connelly but this movie was horrible. One of the only movies I almost walked out of in the theater. What is it with the writer K?ji Suzuki. Do all his books have child abandonment plots involving drowning? |

Something is lacking - I like the cast and the plot works well, but it still feels like something is missing. I just couldn't get into this film no matter how hard I tried. Maybe I was spoiled by the original. |
