The story of Daredevil is one with potential to be a dark and significant exploration of crime and morality with a unique and vulnerable hero. Sadly, this film misses all of that and, instead, creates Daredevil as a ridiculous and cartoony do-gooder with an ever more ridiculous villain (Colin Farrell has never appeared more silly.)

Below average comic film. Could've done more with the characters and the action wasn't good. The director's cut is only a fraction of an improvement.

Daredevil is mediocre at best and boring at worst. Affleck and Farrell are good in it, Garner is terribly mis-cast, and Duncan does the best with what he's got. Unfortunately that's not much. Watch it if you like the comic or superhero movies in general. Otherwise don't bother.

Action aside, there's not much else I could recommend this movie for. There's a lot of good casting choices, but no one looks comfortable in there roles, save for bat-crazy Colin Farrell who is perfect for Bullseye.

I love this movie. I thought the characters lived up to the comic books, the action scenes were awesome. Besides the Daredevil and Kingpin, Bullseye was awesome, nothing like killing an old lady with a peanut!

Lots of decent action, cheesy villains and mediocre acting. The surprising part about this movie is who they have a bunch of good actors and produce a movie that is just so-so at best. I do enjoy the action though.
