Ted is everything you would expect a film with Seth McFarlane to be. It was funny (though some of the jokes were a bit raunchy, it wasn't overpowering) and even had a few sentimental moments. For a comedy film, it exceeded my expectations. It isn't going to be known as one of the most brilliant films ever made, but it is truly funny with great acting by the cast. You even buy in that the teddy bear can talk without it being overly cheesy throughout the film. I recommend it for a good laugh, and may even consider buying it when it's out on DVD.

I could've done without a few of the jokes. But overall, I think it was hilarious. I mean first of all, the whole theme of the movie is enough to make me laugh.

If Seth MacFarlane's comedic genius wasn't readily apparent to you, ten minutes into 'Ted' will change all that. The laughs range from guttural to gut-busting while MacFarlane throws in a great mix of semi-acute poignancy to give you a full range of emotion seldom felt while watching comedramas. The casting was superb as well - even Mark Wahlberg delivered. If you're not a MacFarlane fan, the opportunity to see Mila Kunis run and Giovanni Ribisi dance add some unexpected and worthy viewing pleasure. Well worth seeing at the Box Office more than once - I haven't laughed this hard since Warren couldn't find his baseball.
