I was very pleased by this movie. Carell stepped outside of his cheesy humor and played a meaningful role that I'm sure a lot of men can relate to in one way or another. I was glad to see that the acting was a priority in this movie. Even Dane Cook, who I love, was completely outside of himself. There was a very touching story. I loved the whole family dynamic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

This is a sweet story that is worth a watch. The casting is good and there are some very sweet scenes. There are many very funny moments, however some of the scenes are a bit to cheesey for even me and I love cheesey romantic movies.

This is an adorable chick-flick. Cute comedy and romance. Carell is so lovable as the love-torn Dan. Anyone who has or was a teenage girl will appreciate how well his middle daughter played her role. Highly recommend.

This move was very good from beginning to end. The casting was good the acting was good and the directing was good. It was a movie that I don't think I would watch again but I also felt that it was 2 hours well spent. I would recommend this movie to any one. It is fun and has a heartfelt message in it. Don't expect greatness but expect a good movie. I would say don't wait until it is on cable rent it before that.

I'm a fan of Steve Carell. I thought it would be a funny movie but I really didn't have any expectations or know much about it. I thought it was a fun movie and told a cute story. Steve Carell played a great father but it was not my favorite role or movie for him.

A solid comedy with some good romance. There was some very intelligent pieces to the film, most notably the family life. The tradition that they share is real and the relationships that they share seem real as well. A solid 2007 movie.

This movie was great! It was completely romantic and charming. More importantly, it gave me hope for the future of Dane Cook's acting career. As Josh pointed out yes, it's predictable. However, that's one of the good things about it. Sometimes you just need a mindless movie that gives you hope for a better day. This is definitely a good film for that!
