Screen legend Barbara Streisand is perfect as the overly doting mother and it's interesting to see Seth Rogen branch out of his usual sub-genre of comedy, but let's be honest, would you really need to watch "The Guilt Trip" ever again.

A man takes a road trip with his mother across the country. His motive is to sell his latest invention, while her motive is to track down a lost love. Okay the year is almost up and the world didn't ended and I need to review this movie.this movie is not funny and annoying just like jack and Jill.

Barbra Streisand as the incessant, dotting mother, and Seth Rogen as the dubious, entrepreneur son are a delightful duo. I especially enjoyed the eureka moment that Andy experiences while giving his climactic sales pitch. He proves that sometimes moms have the best advice of all. Funny and heartwarming.
