An art auctioneer gets involved with a gang of criminals. In order to recover a priceless lost painting, her turns to a hypnotherapist. But as reality, desire and hypnotic suggestion collide - things become complicated and more dangerous than anyone could have anticipated. This movie was a bit of a let down I mean the movie as good acting but forgettable movie.

I thought there would be more to this movie than what the trailer showed, but I had no idea it would have as many twists and turns as it did. I really dug how it all played out and I was genuinely surprised a few times. The psychological edge to the story makes for a sustained involvement in the the mystery. Boyle delivers solid, visually striking direction as always. A good, streamlined, and fast-paced thinker.

I liked it a lot. It seems that James McAvoy and Rosario Dawson make terrific movies. But, I do think hypnotism is nonsense. It makes for good movie material though!
