As of today Jeremy Renner and Tom Hardy are taking over as my favorite actors, Renner is excellent in everything and i usually like all his movies. That said, im not so sure they shouldve kept the Bourne series going w/o Matt Damon, it just doesnt seem right. Its not a bad movie but not great

I do so wish that they had called this film 'The Bourne Lethargy' instead of 'Legacy' so that I could have at least gotten a laugh out of this otherwise phenomenally disappointing 'spin-off' to the superior Bourne trilogy. By virtue of it's intrepid decision to not rush through it's action set-pieces - giving the suspense time to breathe -, it's not terrible, but it still could have been eminently better in terms of pacing, plot, music, and characterisation (Edward Norton, for instance, is reduced to a shady retired colonel who barks orders at hapless technicians).

Generally, I like and respect the movies of Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, and Rachel Weisz. And this movie is no different. However, that's about all this movie has going for it. It's worth a watch. But, the ending was a little underwhelming, in my opinion.

This movie was another summer flick, it didn't catch my attention much in theaters. I expected more from the film, story wise. I hope looper can fix this whole scheme of summer plotless movies, oh well though, any day at the theater is a good one good movie or bad, the theater has that aura about it that nothing can touch.
