The story is about a small-town insurance agent who has settled into his humdrum life finds his life turned upside down when he attends an annual insurance convention in Cedar Rapids. This movie lacks on Jokes and writing but the actors did a good job in the movie.

Well acted but just lacks the impact to make it a good comedy. Some of the characters were uninteresting coupled with some impossible moments towards the conclusion which was unsatisfying. Nothing spectacular or ground breaking but worth viewing to pick up some meaningful lines and seeing how insurance agents work.

Way way way way way too subtle for my taste. Once the basic plot gets going I thought things got boring really fast. There are some good characters and some funny moments, but Ed Helms' freakouts get pretty annoying after awhile. There just wasn't much of a movie here to give a good review. Maybe if there had been less characters or if Helms' character had been developed beyond the naive-guy-who-knows-nothing, it could have been better.

I thought this movie was absolutely hilarious! It's a nice indie comedy in the tradition of such off beat comedies like Sideways and Little Miss Sunshine. While not quite as comedically brilliant, it's still incredibly enjoyable and just hysterical. Each of the cast does great and the dialogue's sharp and funny! One of the best of the year so far.
