Sharper, sprier, and has two leads with better chemistry than most mainstream sex comedies, "Friends with Benefits" soars on the backs of Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis, and some of the funniest one-liners since "Annie Hall."

Despite some harsh reviews regrading it's predictability, I found Friends with Benefits to be an excellent combination of humor and romance. The cast is excellent, as is the script, and the movie is, overall, highly entertaining.

Better than the average romantic comedy movie thanks to the great chemistry between Timberlake and Kunis - and the supporting cast, including Woody Harrelson, Patricia Clarkson and Richard Jenkins is likewise good. A bit predictable, but still a lot of fun that exceeded my expectations.

Despite this movie's pointed aversion to rom-coms, this movie is a rom-com through and through. You know how the ending will go before the movie starts. The movie's selling point for me was the humor. And this movie has it. Though some talents are grossly underused. There are dramatic moments thrown in, but not enough to detract from the movie.

Timberlake and Kunis are a likable couple, but the film often forces their characters to go through the predictable motions of a tired romantic comedy. A lot of the dialogue feels forced and dumb, but there are moments that work (the scenes with Richard Jenkins as Timberlake's senile father are the film's best.) There's also an inexplicable misuse of the comic talents of some of the film's cameos; Jason Segel, Andy Samberg, Masi Oka, Emma Stone, and Rashida Jones all appear but in very unfunny and very brief moments. It's great eye candy and often fun entertainment, but there's nothing too deep or moving about the film and better movies have explored the same territory.

This was probobly one of the best movies of 2011, I thought it was one of the best performances by Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. This is very well written, the story was something that everybody can relate to one way or another. If your looking for funny, or romantic then this is it. It's also a great date movie lots of eye candy for both men and woman.

A romantic comedy that pretends it's not a romantic comedy by making fun of other romantic comedies, even though by the end it's rolling out all the cliches you constantly see in these movies. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis play Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis because their characters are completely unbelievable. They do have some decent on-screen chemistry but that's not that difficult when you're playing yourselves. Perhaps if more time had been spent developing the script and less time snarking on other films and filling the movie with pointless cameos, something better could have happened.

Nothing's special, but definitely watchable.
