It took me two viewings to fully grasp this film. And man.. what a great film. Totally blew me away.

One of those films that after you watch it, you know will be used as measure for others. Not only everything is done perfectly, but the details. The score is the finest, adding to the movie a great mood, the acting is not just making characters, it's that kind of acting where you see the passion on it. Actually, now that I think about it, you can see the passion putted in this movie, in every little aspect. Pay attention to script. One of the best original's one (not adapted) ever.

It took me a long time to finally watch Chinatown - I can say it was worth the wait. Film noir at its finest - where power and corruption are the currency. The film itself is dark - not just the themes, but the actual color is muted to make it seem even more so. One of Jack Nicholson's best performances to date is just the cherry on top. You can't afford to miss this.

A great mystery with one of the best actors. Nicholson is superb, and the plot is thick. A film noir at its core that is a must see!
