What can I say that hasn't already been said? Nothing, so I'll just reinforce the points others have made. The fight scenes are well choreographed, and even have some humor thrown in there. It's a great story with rich history attached. If you like kung fu movies, you owe it to yourself to see this movie.

one of the best movies i've ever seen ! Donnie yen appears as a really humble but good man in this movie. I have saved the theme music in my workout playlist...it is very motivational !

This film showed the acting range of Donnie Yen. Has some heavy drama and good cinematography. Sensational action and acting. Unfortunately, some of the scenes went on too long that really doesn't benefit the story. Ip Man is typical film you watch if your in the mood for some cool hand to hand combats.

An entertaining martial arts film with a bold plot and a superb historically-recreated setting. The film contains some skillfully choreographed martial arts fights, but also balances that with a well-written story and nuanced and developed main character.

Donnie Yen is a great actor and really brought Ip Man to life. The thing I thought made it even better is that it is based on a real man and his life. It has a lot of very good fight scenes and helps you to understand the philosophy behind his marshall arts.

Hard hitting fights make you feel the pain of Ip Man's enemies. Donnie Yen is at his best. A must see for kung-fu fans.
