Callas Forever is an appropriate title that describes the length of the film perhaps. While Jeremy Irons and Fanny Ardant are competent enough to turn any fledgling movie into something half-interesting, this movie just doesn't work, even with interesting subject matter. Not recommended.

At first interesting, but this biographical drama quickly becomes tedious; Ardant is fine, but the movie just isn't passionate enough about her character and spends too much time dealing with Jeremy Irons' homosexual love interest. Final Grade: C
