There aren't many likable characters in this pseudo-comedy that pits two demanding characters against each other. It doesn't score many laughs and that's probably mainly due to it not being grounded in any sort of circumstance we can care about.

Although I would term this an unconventional romantic-comedy, it doesn't mean I enjoyed it more. The main problem is I really didn't like either Vince Vaughn or Jennifer Aniston. It's hard to enjoy a movie when you can't enjoy the leads.

Awkward and insultingly unfunny comedy with two fickle, irritating lead characters whose presence to be in is deftly uncomfortable since all they do is yell as each other. Final Grade: D+

When it comes right down to it, this movie really hits home to serious relationships that end not in cheating. The arguing and bickering can be flat out painful to watch, especially when it goes on and on. However, Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston do a great job of putting a funny twist on most of it. The battle over the apartment is hilarious, along with the video games and dating new people. I watched it on a whim, and surprisingly got caught up into it. 3/4

A funny movie that does very well at times. Having been in a few relationships myself, I can understand most of the movie. This is recommended for couples, but don't get your hopes up as it is not all that funny most of the time. Good.
