I really enjoy this movie. It is my go-to movie when I am feeling sad. Julia Roberts did an excellent job portraying Liz Gilbert, a woman on a journey to learn how to live without a relationship. She travels around the world to do so. I suggest watching the director's cut, anyone who read (and enjoyed) the book will appreciate this version.

Sort of a bunch of really cute moments strung together. Some of them work. Most do not. I haven't read the book, so maybe the disconnected and sappy events of the film play better on paper. Really, did this have to be over two hours long? I was ready to check out after hour one.

couldn't get into the book, but I figured, Julia Roberts, oh I'll like it. Not one of my favorite movies of hers

"Eat Pray Love" is a movie about a journey of a woman finding herself. I don't know why I didn't feel this movie while watching it. I saw its trailer, and I thought it will be a good one. And now I am disappointed. Julia Roberts and The Medicine Man is fun to watch, but in general, nothing is really special. This movie proved nothing. I think everything falls short. Julia Roberts is fine. The plot is okay, yet, as i have said, nothing really special towards the end.

It was a little better than what I thought it'd be. But still, it was a little too long and, at times, boring. All in all though, it wasn't that bad.

I'm 43 andI have never walked out of a movie because I hated it, until now. Even though the movie was slow moving, it was confusing. I love Julia Roberts and that is why I wanted to see this one. But, there wasn't anything interesting or thought provoking going on to keep my mind from wandering. I couldn't tell you who Julia Roberts character was supposed to be or what she was doing. At one point I was so dismayed at the movie, that I started to laugh...and I couldn't stop. I was so bored. Finally after about 40 minutes of nothingness and worrying about my sanity, my familly and I, got up and walked out.
