This movie was not very funny and had lots of nineties humor. "How do you make something funny? Just say something that isn't true and add ....NOT to it." Then Borat misunderstands this in what is a very unfunny attempt after attempt in trying to understand the joke. Then with Pamela Anderson? I felt this was meant for the nineties and not 2006.

The obnoxiousness of Sacha Baron Cohen's character Borat in this new film can get tiring, but look at the heart of what this movie is about. "Borat", by being so ridiculously opinionted let's Americans see their own prejudices and realize how truly terribly they can be. Using comedy softens the blow and offers simply to rectify behavior as opposed to demonizing anyone. A Great film.

I honestly didn't find this one as funny as most people did. It points out some flaws in our society quite well at points, but its crude nature sometimes overshadows this, in my opinion.

Hilariously offensive comedy with no boundaries; pokes fun at politics, sex, religion and American culture with an astoundingly cavalier clarity. There is very little plot, but Sacha Baron Cohen makes his character very memorable and his adventures are both amusing and cringing. Final Grade: B+

A guerilla comedy that seems a cross between Punk'd and a Michael Moore documentary - it's definately a comedy, yet underneath it all exposes some elements of America that can't be denied. Sometimes I didn't know if I should laugh or cry.

This may be one of those funny films that you have to see again to really appreciate. There are some exceptionally well done and improved moments that will make you laugh out loud and a couple parts you can't even watch. It lacks plot!
