Just all around terrible waste of a movie. What makes it so much more painful and disappointing is that the video game it was based on was outstanding. I was genuinely excited to see this. The let down was too much. Nothing close to the source material. A shame, a waste and an insult.

The story is about Lord Kagan wants his half-human, half vampire daughter to become a full-fledged vampiress, but Rayne denounces her father's legacy and instead joins up with a trio of vampire hunters. Based on the popular video game. This movie is just unspeakably Bad.

The less said about this awful excuse for cinema, the better.

Splatter-happy video game adaptation with poor performances from Kristanna Loken, Michael Madsen, Meatloaf and especially Ben Kingsley; the film does look good but why in the world did it need a montage at the end, recapping all of the particularly gory moments. Definitely Uwe Boll's best movie, but that's not saying much at all. Final Grade: C-

Action: 0.5/3 + Comedy: 0/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 0.5/1 + Special Effects: 0/1 + Plot: 0/1 + Music: 0/1 = 2/10 or 20%. Those curious of what Terminator 3 would like like topless and in medieval times will have their curiosity filled. I guess that gives that select group about 1 minute of this film to justify watching. Apart from that one gets to witness first hand exactly how to not make a movie. Even Ben Kingsley can't add life, no pun intended, as a vampiric lord. Uwe Boll, even if one hasn't witnessed his prior atrocities, solidifies himself as perhaps the worst director working in films today with this.

Someone kill me if I ever try to watch this again. Uwe Boll should be brutally tortured for making this movie. His idea of if the movie sucks add more blood has never worked and it makes this film even more god awful... whats worse is that I cannot believe they have made a sequel.
