A one-note but very funny screwball comedy.

The words "French" and "comedy" put together always inspire dread. Add the words "Hollywood" and "remake" and you have a recipe for total disaster.

An all-star cast with clever writing, entertaining production sets and with a likable concept. The amazing performances carried out and even the drama was not coy. I remember laughing hard when I first saw this. A good comedy if your in a mood to watch a movie whose premise is similar to Mrs. Doubtfire, Tootsie or Some Like it Hot.

Though witty and well-acted, this American remake of the great French comedy 'La Cage Aux Folles' ditches the cynicism of the original and opts instead for heartstring pulling... with predictably bromidic results.

The witty dialogue of this comedy of manners is made all the more entertaining and also touching by the heartfelt portrayals of both Williams and Lane. Nathan Lane's comedic timing is gold.

Basta ter espírito esportivo para aproveitar uma comédia desavergonhadamente infame, que conta com um elenco brilhante fazendo coisas inesperadas. Uma fonte de sonoras gargalhadas.

Williams, Lane and Azaria are great in their over-the-top performances. The plot is silly but it's still a fun show.
