Funny, romantic and drama movie. Easy to watch because of plot, full of colours, glamour, beautiful landscapes and music.

I was really excited about this movie and wasn't let down. It has the fashion, the great conversations, and lots of drama. I will admit that this is one of my go to movies. If I don't know what I want to watch I put this one on. Also I tend to fast forward to where they are in Mexico and watch the last half. File this under "Weird movie watching habits". Any Sex and the City fan must watch this but it is a great Romantic Comedy as well.

As bloated as this film is and as annoying as the pretentious main characters often are, there are some touching human moments buried amid the fluff. The sequel, however, is a different story.

Action: 2/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 0/1 + Love/Sex: 0.5/1 + Special Effects: 0.5/1 + Plot: 0.5/1 + Music: 0.5/1 = 5/10 or 50%. While it catches up the audience and takes care to include the "non-cable" crowd, it does not offer enough of the edgy, clever dialogue or brashness that made it famous to keep it tolerable.

I mean, this movie had a lot of good parts but the whole thing with Carrie and Big was so predictable and annoying. Of course it was good to the girls together again. Loved the fashion, loved the fun, and I guess I loved the drama in a way, but it was still annoying.

I loved this movie! I'm a huge fan of the show so this was right up my ally. Loved the wedding dress montage!

This movie lost the edge that the series had. All the Girl Friends had boy friends. All of them had gotten older and frankly, more boring. The style was there, but they put too much melodrama into it to try to make it good. A shameful end.
