John Hughes attempts to milk the Home Alone cash cow once again, this time by showing a cutesy baby crawling obliviously through the usual juvenile slapstick and retch-inducing schmaltz. I'd rather spend a cozy night in with Asami and her cheesewire than endure this again... |

Three crooks (Joe Mantegna, Joe Pantoliano and Brian Haley) kidnap the son of a wealthy couple (Lara Flynn Boyle and Matthew Glave) after disguising themselves as photographers. They want to hold the infant for ransom, but naturally the child is much smarter and ends up escaping from them! Basically a clone of the Home Alone movies except the child hero is much younger and there are three bumbling crooks instead of two. Disengage your brain and you’ll have a lot of fun watching the hilarious antics of a cute baby and some pretty dumb crooks getting hurt and humiliated along the way.

A great movie for keeping the young ones occupied... hopefully while you're far away doing something else because anyone over the age of 6 need not apply. Might not quite be Baby Geniuses level bad, but it's creeping pretty close to it. |
