The conventional underdog sports pic, but with a fresh feminist spin.

A cute movie that I can watch over and over again, It never gets old. It also shows that you should never give up on your dreams no matter how hard the show is. She dreams to be a roller girl, It shows how the game is played and her mother wanted her in beauty pageants.

I thought this movie was fun. The idea is typical: a rebellious teenage girl who's parents want to mold her to be a certain way, and her finding a way of breaking out of it. However, it was entertaining, humorous, easy to relate to, and something you could watch with your family. I enjoyed it. :)

This was a pretty good movie. The names were really clever. My favorites was Princess slaya and Eva Destruction. The racing was cool too. what i really liked about it was the fact that it wasn't a typical movie. I mean, the formula input was minimum. The acting from Ellen Page was awesome as usual. The only cheesy part was when the couple had it in the pool.

One of the most obnoxious movies I've ever seen. I am now convinced that Drew Barrymore should just quit making movies because she is the most annoying part of this very annoying movie. Cool derby scenes though.

The roller derby scenes weren't as exciting as I had anitcipated. But it was fun to see the actresses casted in this film together.

Not very original, but it does it pretty good. Enjoyable and fun and Ellen Page is great as always.

I saw this in Paris and it was called "Bliss" there. Overall, a very good movie that was touching, especially in the end (the relationship between the girl and her mother). However, it seems that Ellen Page plays yet another girl who is light years ahead of everyone in the wisdom arena. Most girls would have fallen for the guy she liked and most girls wouldn't realize that he was a stinking liar - that is unless they had reached their thirties and had a bit more experience like director Drew Barrymore. Also, I felt it was trying to be quirky like Juno and didn't have 100% of the charm of that film. Still, a decent effort.

I thought this movie was excellent! I'm beginning to become a fan of Ellen Page. Although, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't really a single known lesbian in this movie. Because, my experience with Roller Derby is that most of the ladies involved are lesbians. But, it was still a great movie.
