All of the magic and build-up of the first several films gets a satisfying pay-off. All the characters are paid loving farewells and the climactic Voldemort battle does not disappoint. If you've seen all of the series and read the books, I suspect this will be the emotional ending you want. On its own, for non-fans, it's still a great film.

I have to say, I really only saw one Harry Potter movie before this one (which by the way, I enjoyed). So, I didn't understand half of this movie. However, I understood enough of it to like it. The plot twists are all very interesting, as well as all of the characters.

Here we are in the last installment of Harry Potter series and as it comes to a close i really thought that splitting it to two parts was a bad idea. Though it felt good seeing everything ends.. I didn't feel that sense of fulfillment like when I saw return of the king.. it somehow felt shortened maybe because the last part was split into two, so one would have to look at it as a whole not just a piece of cinematic ending. Also i felt the trailer kind of misled me a bit because i really thought the would be an epic battle. I just were expecting maybe a bit too much but all in all it's good its finally over. All is well but not well enough

Picks up right where 'Part 1' left off and doesn't stop until the end. It manages to cover all the bases and deliver some of the most satisfying moments in the series' history, all at a brisk pace. It's the most action packed and emotional of all the HP films. The climactic fight between Harry and Voldemort is better conceived than in the book. It's a great, satisfying conclusion to the series that fans of the movies and books will enjoy.

I was disappointed. I felt the 1st part was much better than the 2nd. The key scenes were present in the movie, but it felt like these scenes just “checked the box”…as if the director said, “do I have Harry in the forest?”, “do I have Harry at Gringotts?” and so on. None of the scenes felt fully developed, it almost felt as if I was watching a lot of previews put together. It was Harry and I loved it for that reason, but it didn’t deliver, especially considering it is the last HP movie.
