Another ridiculous Stallone vehicle in which he lumbers through some reasonably well handled set pieces, directed as it was by Richard Donner of Superman and Lethal Weapon fame, but it gets increasingly ludicrous and Banderas is just plain awful.

Meh - about as standard an action film as you can find. Both Stallone and Banderas don't appear to have their heart in this project. Unless you're feeling desperate, I suggest getting your action fix on a much more exciting film.

A simple plot with dynamite action and acting. If only the screenplay were improved. I remember having some humor in it. Not much role for Julianne Moore here and the entire flick wasn't that memorable. Assassins may not hit the target, but there are moments it entertained.

The acting was decent and the action was fun but it still left me longing for something else. Antonio Banderas' character could have been less over the top. I also didn't like having a clear cut good guy and bad guy.
