Cop drama which uses the same multi-narrative structure as Crash, though it's right out of the old school of New York acting. It's well made and features hard boiled turns from Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke, Richard Gere and Wesley Snipes. They keep it real enough, but it's relentlessly downbeat tone makes you wish you were somewhere else. Avatar's Pandora, for example.

A solid cop drama with shads of Training Day but doesn't have the characters or impact of that film. Still, good to see Wesely Snipes alive and well! If you're in the mood for a decent crime drama, I recommend it, just don't expect fireworks.

A solid movie. Not as good as training day for many reasons but one main one pops up - no performances like Denzel Washington. This star studded cast delivers. The cinematography is pretty good, and it is directed good. The pacing is missing and so is the overall punch. Still, a solid movie for a downer first half of '10.

The preview and the music during the movie is better than the actual movie. Don Cheadle and Ethan Hawke are bullies in this movie. This film is very ghetto and stereotypical. Felt it had a mostly bad ending.
