The Wolverine is likely the most iconic and popular of the mutants. Therefore, he deserves a better origin story than this.

The visual effect's in this movie looks awful and wolverines revenge story is a pretty lame revenge. Th villain is cartoonist and the way there did dead pool was so wasteful and pointless.

A platitudinous effort that finds only minor redemption in some of it's key players (particularly Huston and Schreiber as the nefarious heads of the Weapon X program) and a surprisingly well-executed first act.

Hugh Jackman was born to play this role. You empathized with the character, knew his history, and now what? The Gambit fight was cool, effects were okay, nothing left was good. Wolverine fanatics are in for a treat, I felt the X-Men collectively make for a better movie.

One of the most bad-ass heroes has his backstory messily told, with plenty of cheesy action, dialogue, and music. The "emotional" scenes don't work, and the action feels often half-hearted. Extra demerits for ruining one of the most bad-ass villains in Deadpool.

Not a good movie. It is cool to see his back story but I am not sure how accurate it is. Nothing about this movie was fantastic. Action was blah, the direction was crappy, music was over hyped. Seemed cheap. Worth watching for free and nothing more.

You know, I actually thought this was ok when I first saw it in theatres. However, the more I think about it, the more I realize this movie was a legitimate piece of crap. The filmmakers put absolutely 0 effort into this. The story is shit, the characters were just there, there was no point to anything. One of the worst prequels.

Piece of crap movie. Gavin Hood has taken a great franchise and just took a giant crap all over it. I watched this movie several times, hoping to find something in it that was worth my time, and I only came out with one thing: the several scenes with Gambit. That's it, folks. An awful action movie that only the most action-oriented guys will like. A bad installment.

A highly entertaining movie with Hugh Jackman doing the character he does so perfectly. Also, there is some worthy proformances from Ryan Renolds and Liev Schriber. The direction by Gavin Hood is stylish in some parts but is bogged down by lazy writing, and a forgettable story ive seen so many times in 80's revenge films. Some things even border on the ridiculous, when all that needed is something simple ( wait until you see "The gun" and you'll know what i mean.) There is some pretty good action and some prettty cool f/x but this character deserves much better treatment than the product we have present in front of us.
