i am not a big fan of milos forman but this movie is a big movie. bigger than milos forman. its a masterpiece for biography movies. murray abraham and tom hulce shines on this movie. honestly i want to say, when i was watching this movie, i always think about salieri more interesting caharcter than mozart but anyway its a great movie from 80's

Absolutely wonderful and masterful. Tom Hulce as Amadeus is perfect. Not only is the story good, but I love Mozart. If only all movies could be this good.

A beautiful elegy to the mediocrity. An eternal theme that transcends issues like truth, history, and form. The greatest object of art on the subject.

This is a movie with great acting and even better music, but it doesn't hold up as well in 2007. It has a very 80's feel to it. And for a "historical" film, that's not good.

The only reason this doesn't get 4 stars is that I have issues with films that make their own history. Watch this for the music, the acting and a great plot but don't mistake it for a history lesson.

Obviously this movie has great music. At over three hours, I still couldn't help myself but continue to watch this movie into the late hours of the night. A must see!
