If you didn't see this film as a kid, you didn't have a childhood. Simple as that.

Don Bluth animated films never got the recognition they deserve mainly because he wasn't Disney. Is this a little rougher around the edges? Maybe. But the message is every bit as good as what you'll find in a Disney film, and that to me is what counts.
