One of the greats for its time. Creepy, scary and horrible. The creature is fantastically made (even by today's standards). A true classic.

There's not too much to Alien, I actually found it auite tedious at times. Not a movie I would except on a top 100 list.

An incredible permutation of pregnacy fears. This film broke ground: in other horror flicks of the period, women are victimized (Halloween), but Sigourney Weaver proves herself an adversary.

In space, no one can hear you scream - Alien made me believe this. One of, if not the best, sci-fi horror films, Ridley Scott knows what makes you scared. Sigourney Weaver leads an excellent cast.

A great movie with an unforgettable plot and villain. It is not as good as Aliens (of course, I did see Aliens first though, so watch them in order?). Recommended for any scifi/horror fan.

Ground breaking special effects and a totally new way of scaring the crap out of people. One of the best sci-fi/horror films ever made.
