Mob boss Lenny Cole (Tom Wilkinson) and Archy (Mark Strong) are the main figures of this crime flick. Stella (Thandie Newton) gives One-Two (Gerard Butler) a job. Lacks character development for other characters and story somewhat confusing. Lacks the charm and humor of Lock and Snatch despite its similar characters. Soundtrack always impressive coming from the director. RocknRolla is a descent mob movie if given the patience to focus on the plot and myriad of eccentric characters.

This movie was so much better then I though that it would be. I remember seeing previews for it and thinking it would be just horrible. After watching the movie I was proved wrong, the story soundtrack, acting, flow, plot were all great. There where only two minors complaints that I had. First it drug on a little in a couple spots and the dance scene was kinda stupid. Otherwise the movie was fantastic, I loved the robbery scene, I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time. Overall the movie was enjoyable and fun to watch, this is a must see.

I thought it was very clever--the British humor wasn't dry. Most of the characters are undeveloped which normally might not bother a viewer; HOWEVER, there were some great scenes and flashbacks with the characters of Lenny, Archie, and Johnny Quid--i really enjoyed their complicated relationships and I wanted to see more. The middle dragged but the ending was completely worth it!

There's a lot to keep track of, but this slick crime caper is worth it. Everyone's connected, but no one quite knows how - the cast works great together and as long as you pay attention, it's interesting.
