The biggest problem I had with this film is the acting and the fact that it is depressing as hell. Stay away from it.

Its a good, but not quite solid, and very conventional thriller. The drama stems from the one upmanship between the two male leads, and everything else falls rather flat. I think i'll stick to watching Pacific Heights for this sort of thing.

I pretty much will watch anything with Samuel L. Jackson - even the more mediocre offerings. Lakeview Terrace has a decent story and acting, but nothing that jumps off the screen. It's a good way to pass a night, but that's about it.

Well Directed with a Decent script. Very well acted with Samuel L. Jackson giving a terrific performance, his best in years. and the highly underrated Kerry Washington giving a good performance as well. Good Plot uses every bit of what it can, making it Intense the whole way through.

This movie, played out exactly as I thought it would, it was your average suspense/thriller movie. You could always tell what was going to happen next so, where is the suspense in that. It was an ok movie if your a big samuel fan. I give it a 3/4 because of the potentail the movie could have had. But it is a good watch though...so yea check it out.

I didn't hate this. I love Kerry Washington I think she's great. I thought Patrick Wilson did a good job as well. However, I didn't catch this from the beginning so when I saw Sammy on the screen I just took a deep sigh and thought to myself, "This movie is probably going to be ridiculous." I don't think it was completely ridiculous. I think that basis of the movie was kind of okay, but I don't think the storyline was developed enough. It just seemed like there were a lot of random scenes. I also thought that the ending was a little rushed despite the fact that the movie kind of dragged out.

The film starts up well but as it goes longer it felt like it was never going to end. I was really expecting a great deal from this movie because it had such a very good premise to it. But then suddenly I got tired of seeing a very confusing storyline. The characters were inconsistent. And the ending became very predictable. I mean you can just see it coming you don’t even need to be a psychic. The only commendable thing about Lakeview Terrace is the fact that Sam Jackson is doing what he does best. Being himself

This was an odd mish-mash of a movie for me. On one hand, it was exactly what the trailers made me think it would be. Yet occasionally it flirted with becoming something deeper. Then it concluded with a fairly nifty (although contrived) action-packed finale. I guess it was about as average as a movie can be, rated a little higher due to: Skin Rating = 4.5 (out of 5). Patrick Wilson spends a good deal of his screentime shirtless (or more). All I can say is "Yum".
