Not that exciting

I thought this looked pretty interesting when it was released last summer. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving. The project is admirable enough - follow around a few high school kids for the senior year and create a documentary. Unfortunately, the kids get pretty dull after about 20 minutes, and while the subject matter of following a jock, princess, outcast, nerd, and popular kid (sound familiar?) could be interesting, the director never really gets into their personal lives that much to make us empathize with them

I think it would have been more interesting to have done half the documentary as senior year, the other half after their first year of college, so we could see them all "learn a lot" as their comments in the credits claim.

The person I could identify with the most is Hannah Bailey (the rebel) not just because she’s into movies but also the fact that she considers herself to be an “in-between” pertaining to the high school spectrum that ranges from ubergeekdom to uberpopulardom. Whenever she’s on camera she truly shines because she offers something refreshing: while the rest of the subjects, more or less, are most …
