The story picks up almost where the first one left off with Shia’s character heading off to college and leaving behind his girl and transforming Camero Bumble Bee. At school he starts to have visions of crazy symbols. Mean while the Decepticons are planning to resurrect their fallen leader, Megatron. Megatron in turn wants to avenge his defeat and destroy the Autobots by unleashing a weapon of total destruction.

Sam Witwicky is ready to put event behind him and attend college. When he begins to draw strange symbols, which correspond to ancient designs, he becomes the target of the resurgent Decepticons for the knowledge he possesses.
