Leatherheads has the feel of a 30s and 40s screwball comedy, which I love. George Clooney fits right in there and Renee Zellweger does a great performance.

Affable but mostly dull sports/comedy. A lot of big names can't rescue this by-the-numbers film. The setting is interesting, but Clooney can't pull off directing and acting. I will say he tried hard, but just didn't get it right.

This is one of the few movies I couldn't get into or enjoy at all. I ended up working on my computer while watching it. Only watch this movie if you feel like wasting two hours of your life.

once again one of those movies where i never actually understood the point of it. what was clooney thinking? i would be ashamed if i ever directed a movie that bad. how could they have possibly managed to get such a great cast and then bomb that horribly.

What was Clooney thinking? Did he really Direct this? Way over the top and not even close to good. The history of the game is interesting but beyond that, there is nothing good about this movie. Stay away unless you LOVE bad sports movies.

Enjoyable overall, but Clooney should have focused more on the football aspect and getting more laughs then spending all his time on the love triangle. Has some funny bits though, but could have been a lot better.
