OH MY GOD! What a great movie! A great performance by Gerard Butler, wonderful visual effects and a wonderful interesting story that, despite some beliefs, is not based on the true history but the comic strip.

A good movie. Even though its slightly overrated. I think I'd take Watchmen as Snyder's masterpiece over this one any day. Still, visually stunning and very graphic. Action packed.

There are many striking and often memorable visual sequences here, but the dialogue scenes, which should emotionally fuel the action, are extremely flat and clumsy. Zack Snyder has always been a more adept visual director than an emotional one, but when many of his shots are borrowed directly from the comic book source material, you have to wonder how much Snyder actually contributed to the film.

Nothing exceeds like excess, as they say, and that's exactly what this movie has going for it. I'm happy to have enjoyed it for the blustering and the action and the bursty editing and the fake body costumes.

This movie was all power for me. I've never seen characters (that weren't superheros) with so much external and internal strength. It was just incredible to watch. Lena Headey was perfect. The movie's one flaw was that some things were a little over the top, but honestly, it didn't matter because everything else about it was so great.

This movie is a beefcake's wetdream: 1.) Rippling biceps 2.) Endless violence 3.) Naked goddesses getting raped by blind old men What kind of uncle WOULDN'T get her panties wet imagining such delicious midnight snacks? However, I am neither uncle nor beefcake. Two thumbs down.

A manly movie full of manly men doing manly things with manly weapons. It's good fun, though i feel the director Zack Snyder was trying to make something a little more deep and poignant. But like i said, its fun, its brutal, it's gruesome and it made me want to work out and buy a sword. So grrrr.
