There is one thing that I hate a lot and that is dumb down comedy with no joy or sign of heart and spirit. This movie was boring and dull scenes of characters doing nothing but talk about the stuff that makes them happy or sad.

Rachel's bestfriend Darcy is about to marry with Dex- Rachel's classmate on law school. While Darcy's busy planning her wedding, Rachel and Dex has something going, something which started on the law school, something borrowed. *** I want to say that I really appreciate movies with multiple climax, like Crazy Stupid Love which is definitely better than this one. I love the story, but conclusions seemed to be incomplete. And, for sure, there will be lots of viewers who will question the movie in terms of its friendship value. For me, it was only Ethon's character who thinks rationally and actually the one who make sense. Direction, design, performances, over-all, not bad.

After reading the book of the same name, I absolutely could not wait to see this movie. While in my opinion it didn't come close to competing with the book...it was great and definitely on my list of favorites. To me it isn't your normal romantic comedy where in the end everything turns out okay. While the couple ends up together in the end, things are exactly cut and dry getting to that point.

The movie itself was alright, but Rachel doesn't end up with the person she should have. The guy she does end up with, Dex, doesn't deserve her. If he wanted her why would get engaged to someone else!? Rachel should've gotten with her guy friend who actually cared about what she wanted. Everyone else only cared about their own well-being. Darcy, her best friend, was an idiot. She got pisesd at Dex for cheating once when she cheated on him multiple times.
