Wow, I must say I found this movie on accident and I'm really glad I did. Adam Green's Hatchet delivers great moments, such as its brutal deaths and comedic moments in between. Victor Crowley is the next slasher of this generation, and could spawn a great franchise. I loved every character in this film and actually cared for each one of the them. Adam Green is also one of the upcoming best horror directors of this decade, and finally has given us(the fans) a movie that brings us back to the good ol' days! \m/

The first and most important thing you need to know about this movie is it is incredibly stupid. However, the movie knows it and make fun of it's self. If you are a big gory horror movie fan then you might enjoy this one. There are some humorous deaths and a whole lot of gore. There are a whole bunch of problems with this movie two though. The acting is pretty weak through much of the movie, and the whole story and plot are kind of stupid. Overall if you enjoy bad horror movies and good gore then this movie is for you.

ghorry, ridiculous, funny, creepy, very enjoyable if you like slasher movies where the death scenes are just a tad over the top

Pretty good throwback to the slasher of old, with updated gore for the bloodhound in you. Still, slashers of old were never really that good - and Hatchet is really no better. Still, if you're in the mood, you could do worse.

Ok, I am the worlds biggest horror movie fan. This film brought back what horror used to be. Director Adam Green did a fantastic job with this film. The acting was b movie like, the way it was filmed, everything it was so perfect. And gory! This truly is a horror materpeice.

This wasn't the greatest, but I watched it completely. Lots of gore and got exactly what I thought I would out of it. The story about Victor Crowley so that held my interest. This one ranks up there with 2001 Maniacs and oddly enough both had Robert Englund in them.

Here's one modern-day slasher that fits right in with the 80's era classics. This is an immensely fun flick, with some hilarious gags and creative over-the-top gore. The horror/comedy tone is just perfect and the slasher himself, Victor Crowley, is very cool. There's also a small abundance of cameos. This is a must see for horror fans.
