Geoffrey Rush plays Peter Sellers to a T, giving him quirky and, often, melancholy vivacity. The film plays with reality just enough to capture the strangeness of Sellers' real-life personality.

A bizarre film about a bizarre man. You do not know what the deal is with him exactly but it is just interesting to follow him around and see what he is doing. He is not really nice to anyone and he really has no insight himself but it is just fascinating to watch his story unfold.

Geoffrey Rush is one of those people that can completely step into a character roll and completely own it. In watching any over Peter Sellers actual movies, The Pink Panther and all its sequels, Dr. Strangelove, etc, you can see that his screen presence was huge. Geoffrey Rush captures his personality perfectly. Some of the scenes seem rather awkward as they show you what is happening in the film, and then it cuts to a different camera and you see it from Peter's perspective, usually the way that he would have liked to have seen it happen. Its a great movie, and a very deep and personal look at the mind of an interesting man.
