Nothing like Duck Soup (1933), but A Night at the Opera has some unbelievable stunts and superlative music-related scenes which are aesthetically impressive. For the record, watching Groucho and Chico managing a contract equals greatness. 96/100

I like the Marx Brothers, but I just didn't find this one that funny. Sure Groucho had a few one-liners and there were a few sight-gags, but overall this was just an average film.

The Marx Bros and Margaret Dumont follow the usual formula to terrific effect in another comedy classic. Will people still be watching Adam Sandler films in 77 years? I rather doubt it.

Probably my favorite of the Marx Bros. films. There are some great comedic set pieces and an entertaining musical performance, from the Bros. Easily one of their funniest.

Not as absurdist as the famed "Duck Soup," but still just as funny. The Marx Brothers stick to a more linear plot with some great character performances in the supporting cast. Margaret Dumont, in particular, really cuts her teeth here as the "straight woman" to the Marx Brothers' antics.

While not as good as the other Marx movie, it is funny at times and still better than the Three Stooges. I am not sure why this one made the AFI list though as opposed to the last time. See it only if you like pre 40's film comedies.
