Action: 3/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 1/1 + Special Effects: 1/1 + Plot: 1/1 + Music: 1/1 = 9/10 or 90%. A 1968 groundbreaking cult phenomenon that executes suspense and horror better than most modern horror cinema can. While the Zombies aren't as quick, aggressive, and terrifying as 28 Days Later they do show more intelligence (they use rocks to break car windows for example, and let's not forget the daughter who uses a garden utensil to perfection on mom) than the props in such films as the Resident Evil franchise. It is fascinating to watch the introduction of Zombies, particularly in such a fine crafted piece of cinema.

A classic worth watching on of the best movies ever. A group of people trapped in a farmhouse hiding from the dead outside better in B&W than the colour version. Great quote "They're coming to get you, Barbara". Night of the Living Dead" isn't scary because of the zombies the flesh eating sequences are still the greatest & horrifying horror scenes ever made.

This is the zombie movie by which all other zombie movies are judged. George A. Romero is a true horror pioneer, and anyone interested in zombie/horror NEEDS to see this one.

The original modern horror movie. An awesome movie, but sometimes has bad acting. Great story - scary at times - smart, and a worthy watch for any horror fan. If you can get past the acting, this is the best horror film of all time. See it!

The original Night of the Living Dead is feels grim and claustrophobic. With slow, creeping death outside a diverse group must come to grip with each other to survive. The ending is still shocking today.
