Heavier and more expansive, as a sequel should always be.

A squeal that delivers. This movie has bad-ass characters and the visual effect's this time is fantastic and well done and also Wolverine is more bad-ass then the first movie.

In a continuance of the saga he began, Bryan Singer expands on the action sequences and mutant powers he explored in the first film. X2 is flashier, more adventuresome, and, sometimes, cheesier. As a big budget super hero adaptation fueled by adrenaline, it works, and it is vastly superior to the crowded third entry.

A satisfying sequel that gives us more of what made the first film so good.

It was pretty good, but they ruined it when they made Pyro, Rogue, and Iceman kids and wolverine the main character. They should've used Colossus more too. Wolverine is overused in this movie.

Jeez, how many superhero films actually top the original? Well, this is one of them.

My favorite in the series, this movie captures the essence of what the original lost. Still epic, yet bringing together more and more mutants in a human story, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan (who were previously bonded by the British Shakespeare Company), are at the top of their game delivering great performances amid spectacle and twists the like Shakespeare never even dreamed. A great flick.

Action: 3 / 3, Comedy: 0.5 / 2, Good vs Evil: 1 / 1, Love/Sex: 1 / 1, Special Effects: 1 / 1, Plot: 1 / 1, Music: 1 / 1 = 8.5 / 10 or 85%, which is 3 / 4 stars per my rating system. An incredible upgrade to the first film with a tight, satisfying story that leaves the action-fan in all of us wanting more. A great evolution for the Marvel series!

Another great X-Men. I loved that Wolverine got to let loose and kick more butt in this one. Magnito, as always, is excellently bad. Never been a fan of Berry's acting but it's better in this one than the first. Loved the addition of a new villain (Stryker) and that the Mutants have to join forces to defeat him.
