A pretty average thriller that hoodwinks the audience thanks to a pretty gripping and well-shot first act. The first twenty minutes is pretty suspenseful. I won't call it one of the scariest scenes in movie history as it's been described. But it's a good well done scene and I appreciate the direction and style with that scene. None of that continues with the rest of the movie. And the weird part is there is next to no gore or even that much violence in the movie. I don't think the acting is bad. It just turns out to be a boring horror movie that is not that scary.
