"Westworld" focuses more attention on explaining its concept mechanics than developing a plot, but this is such an interesting idea that just the experience of it alone is entertainment enough.

Michael Crichton wrote and directed this movie which makes the similarities to JURASSIC PARK all the more interesting. You can see through his direction and script the cogs in his mind beginning to turn for Crichton to lay the groundwork for what would later become his most famous property. The movie itself is a suspenseful if abit silly thriller. Yul Brynner is absolutely terrifying as the near indestructible and relentless Robot Gunslinger.

A entertaining and interesting sci-fi movie. The sets do not look perfect and it certainly looked as though it was filmed in the 70's but the idea is very original and it is showed in an entertaining way. Not a great film by any standards really but enjoyable and Yul Brynner is great as the unstoppable robot.

Another cult classic, Westworld is one of those films I never deny I like, but won't admit I like to watch. C'mon, Yul Brynner is great playing an evil gun-toting android ready to kill. Just plain, old-fashioned 70s cheesy fun.
