The story is about a soldier Chris Vaughn returns from an 8-year stint in the special forces to find his home town ruled by corruption and drugs. His former high school friend, now the owner of the corrupt casino, is behind it all. This movie had a really slow start to it and the ending felt a bit to rushed. the action sense are enjoyable and The rock and Johnny Knoxville was watchable.

This movie isn't half bad. The Rock was interesting to watch and Knoxville proved again how pitiful an actor he is.

Loud, illogical action movie is at least fast, short and to the point. Final Grade: C

When Johnny Knoxville is the best actor in the film, you have problems. If you like pointless action flicks, this is one to see, otherwise, stay away.

Another loud, pointless remake of a film "inspired" by a real person (Buford Pusser) that retains almost none of the original feel (except that two-by-four). The Rock does what he does best, action & kicking butt, but it can't save the film
