While it's highly immature and I wasn't always proud when it successfully made me laugh, "Waiting" is one of the few "day in the life of" comedies since "Clerks" that's actually worth watching.

Probably one of the best and most realistic comedies ever made. Working in the restaurant business is unbearable and this film shows it pretty much spot on. The obnoxious customers, the very true to life idiot co workers, the dialogue in general, everything about this movie is great. Watch and take heed from this movie. It should be used as a study guide for those patronizing restaurants or thinking about entering the service industry.

Poor acting and poor writing; but damn does this movie get working in the restaurant business down. Anybody who has worked in hospitality needs to watch this movie. It has all the usual restaurant characters.

Didn't care for it, but it's a passable comedy.

A sharp film that plays more hilariously if you have worked in the service industry. The natural funniness of the cast is contagious.

Waiting... is a sad disgrace for a movie. First off, it has no plot what-so-ever. It is terribly directed. It has a terrible screenplay. It has decent actors giving bad performances, except for Alanna Ubach(who's the only funny one) and Anna Faris(who i think is actually a good actress, if she'd only stop doing those endless and stupid Scary Movie sequels). This "Comedy" is not funny and is very boring, the characters are so bad that i wanted it to end fast and it's attempt at being raunchy, just doesn't work.

Having worked a brief time in the restaurant business, the reason this appealed to me is that I recognized a lot of the people and situations (taken to extreme lengths). Plus, everyone involved looks like they're having a good time.
