Strikingly similar to Hitchcock's underrated masterpiece "Dial M for Murder," to the point that I'd almost call it just as great.

Audrey Hepburn's fragile heroine, combined with an early menacing Alan Arkin performance makes for a thriller that is innovative and unique and completely tense, from start to spectacular finish.

This is how a thriller is supposed to be. This is how acting should be done. Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin were at their absolute best in this film. The movie starts off at a slow pace, but still maintains the viewers interest as interesting things keep happening. The movie ends on an extremely high note with one of the most suspenseful scenes in movie history. It was brilliant.

Wait Until Dark is a supremely effective thriller, with Audrey Hepburn at the center with a very good performance. The story builds up to its climax especially well with an exceptional style. The film slowly builds, and that results in a truly brilliant final scene, that is just about perfectly done, and has one surprise that is very hard to forget.

What can be said about this movie that hasn't already been said? This movie is the ultimate thriller, with acting on the parts of Audrey Hepburn, Alan Arkin, and Richard Crenna being supremely brilliant. This movie offered audiences some of the scariest moments in cinematic history and will be widely received and remembered as one of the best thrillers in American film history.

The best aspect in this film is the acting. Finest performances, specially from Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin who are at their best. Great serial killer thriller flick, with great atmosphere and mood.
