Yes, I know this is not a horror movie, but I was expecting so much more. If Signs was a step in the wrong direction, the village was a great leap backward. The only saving grace is the excellent performance by Bryce Dallas Howard.

Overall I liked this film, but didn't expect it to blow me away like 6th sense. The acting and cinematography was excellent and there was also good character development. Once the mystery started to unravel the movie started to get predictable and dull.
