Silly entry into the series, full of lackluster action sequences, ridiculous dialogue, and a complete disregard for the gritty weight of practical effects and interesting characters the first two films carried.

Not quite as good as the first two, or even the fourth one. Still, its worth a shot.

Adds nothing new to the series at all. The plot is basically a re-hash of 'Terminator 2'. While not as thrilling, groundbreaking, or even compelling as the previous films, it still ends up being an average action movie. Some of the fights and chases are cool. Arnold is fun to watch. I'd give it an above average score if it had a better villain Terminator.

Enjoyed this more than the first two Terminators -- in large part due to Nick Stahl, who did a great job getting the bad taste of John Connor out of my mouth that Edward Furlong left. Humor is also more on target and cheesy lines are kept to a minimum. Genuinely exciting, and you can't ignore the sex appeal of Kristanna Loken as the Terminatrix. Also like the ending -- much more intriguing and thought-provoking than the first two Terminators.

Action: 3/3 + Comedy: 0.5/2 + Good vs Evil: 0.5/1 + Love/Sex: 0.5/1 + Special Effects: 0.5/1 + Plot: 0.5/1 + Music: 0/1 = 5.5/10 or 55%. After the exhausting fun of Terminator 2 one has every right to expect something for the third installment. Terminator 3 is nothing more than a disappointment though. The new Terminator is the weakest character the series has seen so far and the Arnold role is just plain beyond used and done. Danes does pull off a respectable "bad ass" to replace the great Linda Hamilton, but aside from her there is absolutely nothing to commend.

Not as good as the first two by any means but still an OK action flick.

A fun ride for the Franchise, though not as good as the other 2. It has some interesting concepts, good special effects, but nothing else is better. The villain actually kind of sucks, and Nick Stahl was too much of a wuss to be John C.

Still a fun ride, but the series is showing its age (in more ways than one). Now John Connor is in his 20s and wants nothing to do with the world. Living alone, off the grid, he still sees visions of a terrifying future. Maybe he should have paid attention. A new threat is sent back - a female Terminatrix that has the liquid-metal ability of the last Terminator - along with a load of new weapons and the ability to control other machines. Meanwhile an aging T-101 - played by an aging Arnold Schwarzenegger is once again sent back to protect him (and his future wife). The action is still top-notch, but the story just isn't the same.
