A love it or hate it experience, "Space Jam" is just as bizarre to me today as it was in my youth even though I know good and well it doesn't hold up and was never that good in the first place. Disregard any rating on this one.

A classic for me as a kid. Not geared towards adults at all, but if your kids love the looney tunes, they will love this movie.

Enjoyable for the younger crowd (at least back in the day - do kids nowadays even know Michael Jordan?) - a nice blend of animation and live action, though nowhere near Roger Rabbit quality. Keep the kids entertained while adults do something more productive.

Classic Looney Tunes shows are as much for adults as they are for kids. Here it's just for kids and for advertisers to make a buck.

In all seriousness, Jordan really should stick to basketball.

Everybody should know by now, sports stars can't act. And the bigger the star, usually the worse actor you are. So it should come as no suprise that Michael Jordan (the biggest athlete in the world at the time) is not that great on screen. Ok, so he's not as bad as Shaq, but he's not good. But, as with any family oriented comedy, it's full of stupid gags and lame one-liners and of course bad basketball games.
