Stanley Kubrick seems to be able to leave you with images that will haunt you. For me, nothing is more unsettling in The Shining than those twins. Although it doesn't follow the novel, that's OK - Kubrick makes it his own and it works.

Great horror film but Nicholson's wife in the movie is a bit annoying. Asides from that the acting is great and Stanley Kubrick sets a mood so tense that I can't relax when I watch it.

A great movie, filled with incredible scenes and awesome performance from Nicholson. But, the wife is really annoying to me. One of the best horror movies of all time.
