A little overdone to add suspense.
3/4 stars

300 is a Frank Miller graphic novel about the battle of thermoplaye. While it is not historically accurate, it's a great story with great visuals and great acting. Not for the faint of heart, there is a lot of blood and strong sexuality. The way the story is told with the narrator's voice is kinda over done to make the movie suspenseful, but it is great nonetheless.

The Actors is led by Gerard Butler as King Leonidas, His performance is absolutly flawless. At some parts he is very calm, at some he is outraged. The war sequences have great acting, the faces on the spartan's faces? Priceless. The Kings wife is a bitch, but good acting.

The effects are mind-blowing. Highly recamended for action lovers. The Directing is great: The narrating, angles, and lighting are simply perfect. Nothing is wrong. As for the Dialouge: It was kind of cheesy at some points, but that is ditched by the middle. Bloodshed is great, the body count is huge, the persians look like mutants. The sword damages are very realistic. The Iraqians had a right to be pissed at how they looked in the movie.

There is a ton of blood and graphic Ancient warfare, so its more bloody then gun fights. There is very strong sexuality, strong nudity and asicly a full on sex scene. Not much language, the only thing here that isn't.

This movie is not according to history at all, however.
