Better Than You'd Expect

Can you say "Teen Sex Comedy"? Well, then you've come to the right movie. One of the better T.S.C.'s that I've seen in a while. It actually felt a little refreshing. Trust me on this, because even though I don't like most T.S.C.'s, I always end up watching them. In fact, I'm pretty certain that I've seen every one of them. Anyways, I think this one is the best I've seen in at least a couple years. There are many great laughs here as well as one or two suprises. It gives you a sense of fun and enjoyment throughout and as the movie progresses, we see the main characters go from creating mischief, breaking the law, and even causing comple mayhem. There is also a lot less emphasis on "gross out" gags, which is nice, because I was getting really tired of that trend in recent T.S.C's.
One thing that bugs me about the movie is the formula plot points that point out the obvious. We all know that the two best friends are going to hook up in the end. Of course this type of thing is in every T.S.C., so it's just unavoidable. The only other bad thing in the movie is Fall Out Boy. Yes, somehow they made their way in and we have to listen to 3 min. of stupid emo music.
